Peer Network uses Google Firebase, a cloud platform provided by Google LLC, to support authentication, analytics, messaging/notifications, and app stability (e.g., crash reports). These services help us improve app performance, safety, and reliability.
How Peer Network Uses Firebase
- Firebase Authentication to authenticate users and improve account security.
- Firebase Firestore to store and sync content across devices securely.
- Firebase Remote Config to change app configuration without requiring a new release.
- Firebase Messaging to send push notifications and updates.
- Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure app load times and track crashes.
User Control and Privacy Compliance
Firebase does not collect personally identifiable information unless explicitly provided to the Service. Data collected by these services may be processed outside your region and kept by Google subject to their policies and our applicable agreements.
Information Collected While Using the Application
When using the app, to improve certain features (such as content creation, comments, or analytics), we may collect, with your permission where required by law, information regarding your device’s internet connection, device model, and app performance metrics.
